Come along on a journey into a storybook world where you’ll see, hear, touch, smell and taste mysterious new ingredients and dishes. These classes teach little ones about cooking and nutrition in a way that makes learning engaging and fun. By incorporating popular stories into each hands-on class, young chefs make a connection between recipes and literacy as they develop fine motor skills and learn to try new things.

Pizza Party

What's round, loaded with toppings and is everyone's favorite? It's pizza, of course! We'll put a new spin on the traditional doughy disk by making pizzas suitable for any time of day with veggies, fruit, legumes and other fun and delicious ingredients.

Exactly what is in the tacos that dragons love so much in the book Dragons Love Tacos? The pages of popular children’s books come alive in this class where young chefs learn to make scrumptious tacos that even dragons would enjoy and take a trip up the coconut tree like in the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. Little hands and young minds get busy while learning to chop, stir and measure as their favorite stories come to life.

Join this cooking gang and discover a buffet of breakfast options bursting with flavor. We're breaking out of the french toast stick routine and scrambling up some morning meals that are sure to become new favorites. Little chefs will stir, whip, pour, blend, chop and measure while creating healthy and wholesome breakfast delights.

A growling, howling stomach monster is no match for the young chefs who complete this series of classes. Participants will use healthy, natural ingredients to learn how to make chocolate hummus, apple nachos and a variety of other delicious snacks that are the perfect weapon for a snack attack.

Using a fruit and vegetable palette, budding young artists will become kitchen Picassos as they create their own edible masterpieces. Animal faces and rainbows are the inspiration to help little chefs get creative with healthy ingredients like oatmeal and yogurt. This class lets kids play with their food as imaginations run wild.

Do all the Whos down in Who-ville like Christmas a lot? Little chefs will find out if they do or do not. What does a snowman eat in the night? Find out in this class as imaginations take flight. Kids will chop, stir and measure to create dishes such as green smoothies and snowman pancakes that bring holiday books to life.
